Teacher training and support for Mobius 3rd -5th grade curriculum
During its concept-test phase, Mobius is offering a discount rate to schools acting as field test sites to gather additional data on the effectiveness of the method with a wider, more diverse audience of students. Schools or a school district selected as field sites will receive:
- Two full days of teacher training in the curriculum and how to deliver the lessons.
- Ongoing support including Mobius staff observing and giving feedback, follow-up phone calls and communication with other field test sites to share experiences and exchange ideas.
As science curriculum providers we believe in the scientific method of testing a hypothesis. Therefore we ask that all of the field sites participate in data collection and reporting. We'll supply you with all the necessary tools. This is a great opportunity to be on the front line of an innovative and creative teaching method at a discounted rate.
Interested in becoming a field test site with Mobius?
Requirements:- At least 10 teachers in 3rd-5th grade willing to learn and apply teaching through movement
- Ability for each teacher to commit to teaching 5 lessons during the 3-month data test
- Agree to collect pre/post-test data for each lesson and final surveys for both students and teachers
- Allocate the appropriate space for the training and classes
- Pay the discounted rate of $6,000 for the training and support
